Main Features
- Prearrangement for Disk Loading / Unloading
- Spindle features automatic shank clamping;
- Torque unit is rotating applies pure momentum around welded joint centre line, torque is applied by two cylinder applying torque to a saddle that is purposely tilting around joint centre line while shank area nearby the joint is clamped and held still;
- Torque unit features a rotating saddle and a jaw assembly that has a target slot slightly larger than segment thickness;
- Disk segments engages inside Torque jaws via dedicated short stroke radial movement :
- X movement of the spindle assembly via pneumatic slide; Y movement of the torque unit via pneumatic slide
- Spindle rotation speed adjustable via inverter
